About

Groups and visitors by appointment are welcome to Llanover where planting has continued since the gardens were first laid out in 1790 using the Rhyd y Meirch stream to create yet more streams, rills, ponds and cascades.  Magnolias and spring bulbs feature in March and April, before the herbaceous borders burst into bloom from May until the first frosts.  The garden was filmed in 2020 for Great British Gardens with Carol Klein and features nine trees which are National Champions.  A “ hidden gem of a garden”.

29 seater coaches can fit through our entrance gates off the A4042 in Llanover, but larger coaches cannot. Consequently, coaches can pull into one of the bus stops in Llanover to drop-off and pick-up their clientele.
