About

Overlooking the River Wye with splendid views of the valley, Oakgrove holiday cottage boasts an envious position in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Shielded from a rural country lane by fields, and reached by a secluded driveway, this holiday cottage has direct access to local footpaths, bridle ways and Offa's Dyke. Oakgrove offers an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in the peace of the countryside and as a base to explore the wealth of treasures around the area. Local attractions include ancient castles and abbeys, craft shops, caves, museums, vineyards, steam railway, birds of prey centre, cycle tracks, canoeing, and much more.

The cottage is detached from the main family house and benefits from its own private garden area and patio, with outdoor furniture. There is ample space for parking. The kitchen forms an integral part of the open-plan lounge/diner. There is a fridge, full size electric hob and microwave with convection oven and grill. The lobby is tiled and leads to the bathroom which has a shower, WC and washbasin. French windows in the lounge open onto a private patio to provide rural views. Alternatively there is a television and DVD player. Bedlinen is provided and towels can be hired on request. Electric heating throughout the cottage should ensure a comfortable holiday at any time of the year.
