Beautifully furnished, immaculate, luxury, single storey accommodation in self-contained, private wing of country home. Quietly but conveniently set in glorious countryside between Usk, Raglan, Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons.

The luxury accommodation consists of: a large lounge / dining room with French doors to a private patio and garden area with tables and chairs; double bedroom with fine linen and a lovely view; very well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, 'fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher; a bathroom with extra long bath, hand-held shower, towels, bathrobes, towels and toiletries. TV (Freeview), DVD, video, books and jigsaws. There are excellent views from all rooms in the apartment. Complimentary organic semi-skimmed milk, orange juice, mineral water, flowers and a welcome tray are provided.

Brynderi's accommodation is assessed as 5 Star quality by the Wales Tourist Board who also describe the two acre gardens and grounds as 'outstanding'. The gardens feature in publications and are open under the National Gardens Scheme. All areas of the garden are available for guests' enjoyment. Ann and Alwyne are always happy to exchange gardening 'know-how' with guests. Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome Awards are also held by Brynderi.

A country Pub serving good food is a 10 minute gentle walk away. There are shops and several places to eat in Usk and Raglan, both some two miles away from Brynderi.

A walkers' idyll but also suitable for guests with some immobility as there is only one step from the garden to the apartment. Brynderi is within easy reach of Cardiff, Abergavenny, Hereford, Monmouth, the roman town of Caerleon, and Bristol.

The apartment can also be let on a BB basis (AA assessed as 5 diamonds, the highest category) and there is another double en-suite room available within the main house.

Patient, retired teachers with experience of caring for elderly relatives are your hosts. ·Guests may be collected from airports and rail / bus stations by arrangement. ·Approach: A472 towards Usk from A449. Right to Gwehelog at Usks 30mph signs. Travel two miles, at top of hill turn left after the Hall Inn down Wainfield Lane. Brynderi is third house on right with sign in stone by lane-side and shoulder height press button on right gate pillar to open automatic gates across tarmac entrance / slightly upward sloping drive. Large slightly sloping gravel parking / turning area at top of tarmac drive. Paved path and level lawn at one end of gravel area enables access onto gently sloping path to rear private apartment entrance. Parking on gravel right up to front door of main house, if required. ·The apartment is in a self-contained wing of the main house. The apartments access is through double French doors offering 64 inch (162cm) wide opening and a threshold change of 10 inches (25cm) from a paved level patio area. Private level patio area for apartment and extensive level patio area with 4 inch (10cm) step access to level lawn / fountain area at rear of main house. Steps connect the two patio areas. ·The apartment offers spacious ground floor accommodation with 76 cm (30 inch) wide internal doors to bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Airy and light with extensive additional task lighting. Bathroom sink easily accessed by wheelchair user. Shaver point / task light over sink. Bath with hand held shower is next to toilet and prevents wheelchair parking alongside the toilet. Kitchen has hob and waist high oven, work-surface level microwave and floor standing washing machine. A fridge is mounted above a floor standing freezer. The bedroom has a double bed which is easily wheelchair accessible from one side.
