Halloween & Bonfire Night in Monmouthshire

Halloween and Bonfire Night will soon be upon us, and we have a host of ghastly events in Monmouthshire to cower at and fantastic fireworks displays to admire.

There's not much creepier than a castle, and ours take a starring role at this time. Prepare for scares at Chepstow, the oldest stone castle in Britain. Discover Raglan's creepy and haunted history at their Halloween 1666 event. Then prepare to be dazzled at Caldicot Castle's Firework Spectacular.

Get ready for a devilish time in Monmouthshire this Halloween with events across the county. Take in spooky trails at Chepstow Castle and the Old Station, Tintern; discover the haunted history of Raglan Castle or have some Family Halloween Fun up the Kymin in Monmouth.

Head to Chepstow Racecourse this Saturday for a fantastic evening of entertainment and fireworks. Live music, a funfair and prizes for the best dressed, it's sure to be a great event for all the family.

Fireworks at Caldicot castle

Watch a fireworks display like no other with the magnificent Caldicot Castle as the backdrop. This is no ordinary show, with an astonishing array of fireworks that will paint the night sky with a kaleidoscope of colour. Congratulations to The Whitebrook & The Angel who both won awards at the AA Hospitality Awards this month. The Angel in Abergavenny was voted Hotel of the Year for Wales and awarded an AA Rosette for their great food. The Whitebrook was recognised for their fantastic wine list, as well as receiving the high honour of 4 AA Rosettes.
