Norton Cottages

About

Norton Cottages are situated in the village of Whitchurch, to the rear of Norton House; just five minutes walk from Symonds Yat West and the River Wye. Canoe hire, boat trips on the Wye, four Nature Reserves, and the famous view point and Peregrine Nesting site at Yat Rock, are all within walking distance from the house. We are easily accessible, with a good bus service into Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, local pubs and restaurants are very close, just park your car in our car park and leave it there, while you enjoy a car free holiday.

We provide secure cycle storage for bikes, fishing tackle, and our famous dog shower is ideal for not only washing mucky dogs, but cleaning walking boots and bikes etc. The laundry is equipped with washing and drying facilities. We are very dog friendly.

We have two individually designed cottages each created within a listed building of great character. The Cider Loft and the Apple Store, each sleep two and have their own secluded gardens with views over the Great Doward, and surrounding farm land. The glorious autumn colours, make October a very popular time to visit. A complimentary 'welcome pack' with home made bread, cakes and local produce is provided.
