About

Join us at Abergavenny Museum in celebrating the remarkable catch of the largest fish in Wales, fished from the Usk in 1782.

We have on display the painting that was created just two hours after the catch. We go on to celebrate the wonderful heritage of our rivers and the challenges they face today. Lots of family fun including Salmon snakes an ladders, a word search and a challenge to leap as high as our salmon!

Exhibition open until December 15th.
