Details

For this Monmouthshire Countryside Service walk please wear stout shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing. Bring your own packed lunch and a drink. Assistance dogs only please.

Walk Route: This walk starts from Goytre Hall Woods along the Monmouthshire canal before heading onto the mountain (Garnclochdy) to see an ancient holy well, a war memorial and an old lime kiln returning via a famous local hostelry.

Access: About 1000 ft. of ascent and stiles.
