About

The Bell at Skenfrith’s  restaurant has won many awards for its food including Best Place to Eat in the Wales National Tourism Awards, as voted by the public. Head Chef Joseph Colman, who is from Tenby in Wales, changes his menus regularly. His produce is seasonal and predominantly locally sourced with some from the hotel’s own kitchen garden. Special dietary requirements and vegetarian dishes can usually be organised with advance notice or when booking.

The Bell serves many local brews and  wines and its Wine List has won many awards over the years for interesting wines at reasonable prices. In good weather, if there is availability, guests may dine or have drinks on the pretty garden terrace. Private parties are most welcome, by prior arrangement, and the very elegant Wine Room may be reserved for small weddings and other events.

Children -  Under 8s are not allowed in the restaurant after 7pm in the evenings but supper can be organised for them from 6.30pm. There is a special Children’s Menu – visit www.skenfrith.co.uk.

Dogs are very welcome at the hotel although we ask that while they are in the bar area or if on the garden terrace they are always kept on a lead.

Please note that The Bell is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and open from midday on Wednesdays. Lunch is from 12pm to 2.30pm Wednesday to Saturday. On Sundays a traditional lunch is available from 12pm until 3.00pm after which the hotel is closed.
