About

The Goose and Cuckoo offers wonderful views, good beer, home-cooked locally sourced food and a wide range of dog-friendly accommodation near Abergavenny Wales. If you’re on a hiking, cycling or any other kind of holiday or short break then we’re able to cater for you.

Sleeping between 4 and 6 people, Cuckoo Cottage is the perfect place to stay for a young family, couples and groups of friends and their pets. The rooms are light and clean and the sitting room contains a wood burner, perfect for keeping you warm and cosy on those cold, winter nights. There is also a kitchen, three bathrooms (one downstairs) and three bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements are flexible with two single beds in two of the bedrooms which can be made into double beds.

We love dogs at the Goose and Cuckoo and all accommodation provided by us is dog friendly. Inside the pub there is are spaces for them to cwtch up on next to the fire and if you’re feeling generous we have some dog treats for them available on the bar, along with a nice ice cold pint and warm welcome for you!
