Details

Ty Bryn B&B is a traditional Welsh Victorian stone house set in historic Llandogo in the heart of the Wye Valley, on the A466 between Chepstow and Monmouth. We have three double en-suite guest rooms, two with far-reaching views up the Wye Valley and the third enjoys a peaceful garden aspect at the rear. All rooms are individually furnished to a high standard to provide all the modern comforts. We offer delicious home cooking, a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and off-road parking. You can enjoy fresh home baked cake and tea and watch the ebb and flow of the tidal River Wye from our pretty garden terrace or cosy sitting room with log fire in the cooler months.

From Chepstow (South Wales, London and South England): Take the A466 passing Chepstow Racecourse, St. Arvans, Tintern and Old Station. Once you have passed the village sign for Llandogo, Ty Bryn is the second driveway on the left. The tarmac drive is steep, but at the top there is ample good parking next to the house.

From Monmouth (Mid & North Wales, Midlands, North and South East England): From the A40 turn off onto the A466 and cross over the Wye Bridge. At a small roundabout (Lidl supermarket) turn right. Pass through Redbrook village, cross Bigswear Bridge and into Llandogo. Pass Browns Stores (right) and the Sloop Inn (left) and in 150 meters (160 yards) look for Ty Bryn’s sign and off-road bay on your right. From this direction the turn into the drive is a tight hairpin to the right. You can either manoeuvre up the drive using the bay or continue along the A466 for 2.2 miles to a large lay-by on the right (before the turning to Brockweir) and U-turn to approach us from the south. The tarmac drive is steep but at the top there is ample flat parking next to the house.
