About

A 5 mile walk between pretty villages to the north of Raglan.

The route follows open fields and lanes in an area of two small villages to the north of Raglan Castle. The walk follows lanes and fields north and west to the church at Penrhos. A quiet country lane leads you to Tregare Church, from where the route crosses open fields south towards Raglan Castle before sweeping left and back to the start.

Points of interest include the country churches of St. Mary at Tregare and St. Cadoc’s at Penrhos with its restored cross. There are good, unusual views of Raglan Castle and the medieval farms of Artha and Waun.
